A former PSL club is scheduled to make significant announcements on Thursday following their relegation at the end of last season.
Without providing extensive details, Black Leopards chairman Chief Thidiela has assured supporters, through this publication, that the forthcoming announcements will encompass both positive and challenging news.

"Tomorrow, we will hold a major press conference to discuss the future direction of the club. The announcement will include both good news and bad news," Thidiela told KickOff on Wednesday.
Speculation has been rife regarding Lidoda Duvha, particularly after the club's management refused to accept their relegation and decided to contest the decision in court. To date, they have been unsuccessful in overturning their relegation through legal proceedings.
The club contended that the four matches they played at the start of the 2025/2026 season should be replayed, asserting that the PSL erred by imposing a ban prior to FIFA’s intervention. The SAFA tribunal dismissed their case.

Unwilling to accept this ruling, Leopards’ management sought relief from the Johannesburg High Court, which dismissed their urgent application.
Lidoda Duvha supporters expected their club to retain professional status because the club did buy their way back to the second tier by acquiring the status of Cape Town All Stars tin June 2023 after finishing bottom of the Motsepe Foundation Championship standings in 2022/23.
