SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. -- A 27-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman from Pace suffered critical injuries on Saturday after being ejected from a car that lost control, struck a utility pole, and hit a tree in Santa Rosa County.
Troopers say the crash happened at about 2:15 a.m. near East Spencer Field Road and North Spencer Field Road.
A Toyota Corolla was traveling northbound on East Spencer Field Road approaching the intersection with North Spencer Field Road when the car lost control and collided with a utility pole and a tree.
Both the driver and passenger were ejected and taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
