Langelihli Phili's arrival at Kaizer Chiefs will not be the final piece of the jigsaw, with more signings being pursued behind the scenes, according to insiders.

Head coach Fernando Da Cruz has already welcomed four new faces at Chiefs, securing the signatures of Thabo Moloisane, Renaldo Leaner, Adolf Mtasingwa Bitegeko, and Langelihle Phili, in addition to sealing a permanent stay for Khanyisa Mayo.

Despite these key additions, the club's management is actively working behind the scenes to secure more acquisitions before the registration window slams shut on 22 September, according to a source close to proceedings at the Village.

"No, he is definitely not the last," said the source, speaking in an emphatic tone.

"The club management is trying to work on a few more."

The sentiments echo Da Cruz's tune upon unpacking his bags. The Frenchman has publicly stated his desire to add four more players to his ranks, specifically focusing on bolstering the offensive departments. He is eager to bring in a new striker, an offensive midfielder, and more depth on the wings to make his team less predictable.

Currently, Amakhosi find themselves heavily linked with a move for Stellenbosch FC winger Faiz Abrahams. The Soweto giants are also to have been monitoring at least two players from Golden Arrows.
