The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Hennessey Exorcist Final Edition Convertible was one hell of a car. It may be impossible to remember that long designation, but it is just as impossible to forget this car. One look is enough to make any modern muscle car lover wanted. It probably had this effect on the one who bought it in 2024. However, he only drove 500. Now, he decided to move on.
Back in March 2024, the original owner paid $102,040 to take the V8-powered, Hennessey-tuned Camaro home, with $22,345 worth of options. Two years and 500 miles later, he decided it just wasn’t for him. Can't blame him. Sometimes, this much horsepower is way too much horsepower for some.
The Camaro is one of only 350 Collector’s Edition ZL1 models that rolled off the production line and one of only 57 examples that received the Hennessey Exorcist Final Edition Package. The package brings a high-flow supercharger upgrade, a custom camshaft, ported cylinder heads, and an oversized heat exchanger.
You know Hennessey Performance. They delete stock from the moment the car drives into their laboratory. The transformation also brought an auxiliary fuel system upgrade, along with high-flow catalytic converters and HPE engine management calibration. Hennessey also upgraded valve springs and retainers, intake valves, and exhaust valves.

When stock, the supercharged LT4 6.2-liter V8 is rated at 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque at the crank. Those were enough to make it rocket from zero to hero (0 to 60 mph or 0 to 97 kph) in 3.5 seconds, run the quarter mile in 11.4 seconds with a trap speed of 127 mph (204 kph), and top out at 198 mph (319 kph).
Goodbye, factory rating!
A ten-speed automatic transmission puts the power down through the rear wheels, in pure muscle car fashion, with the help of a limited-slip differential. But all the upgrades scrapped the official rating. The V8 now pumps out 1,000 horsepower at the crank. The dyno returned 830 horsepower and 749 pound-feet of torque at the wheels, and we've got Hennessey Performance to blame for it.
The car is finished in Panther Black Matte with a power-folding convertible soft top over a Jet Black and Red interior. How on brand is that? It sports unique exterior stripes and a black front grille and exterior side mirrors and rides on 20-inch forged aluminum wheels and sits on the Magnetic Ride Control.

A quad-tip exhaust roars out all the drama of the supercharged V8, because yes, there was a time when Chevrolet wasn’t even considering any sort of electrification for the muscle car, not to mention a full electric variant. The Camaro was discontinued in 2023, with no successor in sight.
Still waiting for the return of the Camaro
Fast forward to 2026, and all we have been getting is rumors about the potential return of the nameplate. The good news for ICE enthusiasts is that GM confirmed that the next-generation Camaro will not require plugging in.
Dodge did bring back the Charger, but with no V8 in sight, leaving the HEMI diehards to lash out at the Daytona EV and the Hurricane-powered variant, which is doing its best to sound like a V8, but does it through the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust.
In the meantime, Ford's Mustang is the only V8-powered muscle car still standing, and it looks like it isn’t going anywhere. The Mustang has already made up for the lost time and ground being America’s favorite sports car in the first half of 2026. Furthermore, it outsold the Mustang Mach-E EV, which won the sales race last year due to incentives given to zero-tailpipe-emission cars.

So now, the only way to get a Camaro is the used car market. However, with such low mileage and showroom condition, this ZL1 Hennessey Exorcist Final Edition Convertible is anything but "used." And it comes with a long list of goodies.
The driver and front passenger sit in power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated Recaro bucket seats. An Alcantara flat-bottom steering wheel sporting a unique Panther badging and carbon fiber trim is also on board, while John Hennessey’s signature shows up on the dash.
However, the original owner did not enjoy much of all these. He drove only 501 miles in two years and listed the 2024 Chevy Camaro for sale. The buyer is getting two keys, the owner’s manual, the window sticker, and the Hennesssey build sheet and accessories.
The 2024 Chevy Camaro Collector Edition ZL1 memorabilia and Camaro-themed SHINOLA watch are also going with the car, with a clean Carfax report showing no accidents or mileage discrepancies. No surprise there, right?

The car was listed on Cars and Bids with an undisclosed reserve by a dealer on behalf of the owner. With five days to go, the highest bid isn't even halfway to the sticker price. The most generous offer sits at $45,678. Well, there is still time.
